Simulation Laboratory
The project scope included demolition of 3 existing classrooms and 1 conference room, construction management and the build-out of the new state-of-the-art 4,525 sq ft training facility, housing a new conference room, control room, kitchen, and 2 storage areas to hold compressors which power mannequins through air lines hidden within the walls. The training center uses lifelike mannequins that are programmed through computers in the control room to simulate cardiac arrest, as well as an assortment of other traumatic experiences to train student nurses in emergency situations.
