BROOKFIELD, Wis. – Peter Schwabe, Inc. (PSI), a Midwestern commercial general contractor, is pleased to announce that Peter J. Schwabe has rejoined the firm as Director of Finance & Strategy. In this role, Peter
J. will direct financial and strategic planning for the company with the intent to eventually succeed his father, Dan Schwabe, as president and CEO. Peter J. Schwabe is the grandson of Peter Schwabe, who founded PSI in 1927.
After spending ten years with PSI in leadership roles such as controller, Chief Financial Officer and Board Chairman, Peter J. provided C-level leadership to several other small businesses before returning to PSI. “Peter gained valuable experience outside our family business, and he will leverage that knowledge to help steer us toward continued success in the future,” said Dan. “I look forward to working closely with him as we transition our construction company into the next generation of management.”
Peter J. holds an MBA from Northwestern University – Kellogg School of Management and a bachelor of business administration degree in finance from the University of Notre Dame. He is active in numerous professional and trade organizations, including the Waukesha County Business Alliance Construction Education Committee and WCTC’s Building Trades Committee. Peter is a member of the Women’s Care Center Milwaukee Board of Directors and holds leadership positions in various other religious and volunteer organizations.
Peter Schwabe, Inc. provides design-assist, design-build, pre-construction, construction, and national site maintenance programs to clients in the restaurant/hospitality, health care, industrial, and retail/office industries. The firm serves clients across the country, with a strong focus on the Midwest.
