We are saddened to share the news that our long-time colleague and dear friend Bob Hasler suddenly passed away earlier this week. We are shocked by Bob’s unexpected passing, and our deep prayers and sincere sympathies are with his family at this most difficult time.
Bob had many, many friends that he knew from his more than three decades of work with Peter Schwabe, Inc., and he earned a great deal of respect and admiration. Starting his career as a carpenter, he worked his way up to foreman, superintendent, and regional office manager before earning the position of Director of Field Operations. He was an incredibly talented person, and those who had the privilege to work with and get to know him understood that he was a wonderful man, a valued colleague and a most decent human being who always was willing to pass along his wisdom and expertise, especially to those young people working their way up to new positions in the construction industry. He was generous with his time, cordial in his dealings with other people and a consummate professional committed to excellence and high standards.
Bob leaves big shoes to fill, and it’s fitting that he spent a lot of his time during the past year working on different job sites helping mentor, teach and encourage the next generation of leaders for Peter Schwabe Inc. Whether Bob was working on building a new McDonald's restaurant, remodeling a church, or checking the final punch list on a medical clinic, an office building or a new school, he was the ideal professional who truly cared about building and maintaining long-term relationships based on trust, respect and hard work. He was incredibly talented and successful at what he did, and we are thankful for all he did for Peter Schwabe, Inc.
We extend our most sincere sympathies to Bob’s wife Macaire and his entire family at this sudden loss. We ask that you join us in sharing your condolences and prayers in Bob’s memory and for strength and sympathies for his family.
Friends and colleagues are invited to join in Bob's celebration of life services:
